The "IP&E Ignite Positive Energy" Drawing Competition 2024, an annual highlight hosted by IP&E GBA Limited (IP&E), has wrapped up with tremendous success. IP&E has consistently demonstrated its commitment to cultivating the growth and potential of local youth. This year, the company proudly co-organized the third edition of the drawing competition with the Hong Kong Children & Youth Services Jockey Club Tai Po Children & Youth Integrated Services Centre (HKCYC), attracting over a thousand outstanding submissions.
The award ceremony for this drawing competition took place earlier at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium in the Hong Kong Science Park. The event was kicked off by a speech from Mr. Eric Chan, the CEO of IP&E. During the ceremony, the management of IP&E and representatives from HKCYC presented awards to participants across various categories, including “Kindergarten (Family) Group”, “Junior Primary (Family) Group”, “Senior Primary Group” and “Secondary School & Tertiary (Traditional / Digital Drawing) Group”, and “Most Enthusiastic Participating Organisation Award”. The IP&E Parent-Child Ambassadors also lent their support, decorating the venue, greeting guests and winners, and distributing gifts to the participants.
Beyond just presenting awards, IP&E also offers opportunities for children and teenagers to showcase their impressive talents. A troupe of young performers captivated the audience with a dazzling array of acts, including dynamic taekwondo, energetic K-pop dance, mesmerizing gymnastics, skillful juggling performances, graceful ballet, and enchanting songs. Furthermore, a workshop was held after the ceremony, inviting both adults and children to creatively craft unique lucky charms. The event's star attraction, our mascot Emeow, also made a grand appearance, ensuring the day's festivities concluded on a high note filled with joy and wonder.
Aligned with the theme this year – "IP&E Ignite Positive Energy", we aim to empower local children and teenagers to unlock their creative potential through drawing, while nurturing a mindset of positivity and proactive engagement. Additionally, we hope that our parent-child volunteer ambassadors will hone their interpersonal skills during the preparation and ceremony, fostering stronger family bonds and enhancing parent-child communication.
Going forward, IP&E remains committed to fulfilling its social obligations and driving positive change within the community through tangible initiatives.
