IP&E GBA awarded the Certificate of Merit at “Packaging Reduction Charter”

IP&E GBA is proud to announce that we have been awarded the merit award of the “Packaging Reduction Charter”, organised by The Environmental Protection Department, at the first award ceremony held on 30 September to commend businesses for their outstanding contributions to reducing packaging waste in 2025-26. A total of 75 signatory companies to the Charter were honoured this year. Participating companies reduced approximately 13,000 tonnes of packaging materials in total, equivalent to the weight of about 900 double-decker buses.

This achievement highlights our ability to and efforts toward achieving Hong Kong’s carbon neutrality and Zero Landfill vision, as well as validates our positive social and environmental impact to our market and community. Additionally, it shows our progress and drive to realise Citadel’s Carbon Neutrality Plan, to jointly promote a green business culture.
